Welcome to the Website of Dental Council of India.

Dr. Dibyendu Mazumder President,
Dental Council of India

I am extremely happy to say that the software system developed by the Indian Dental Association helps to establish an authentic database of dental personnel resources available in the country at a particular point of time, say, during a particular year.

The system will help the Health Ministry monitor the utilisation of dental healthcare personnel and accordingly design a comprehensive oral health policy. The Dental Council of India and its affiliates at the States on their part will be able to suitably plan management of resources to avoid skewed distribution and make effective and efficient use of dental health personnel to provide better oral care services.

The system developed by IDA facilitates a uniform pattern of online registration of dental professionals and help effective utilisation of dental resources personnel for oral health planning. It augurs well for the dental profession and systematic development of dentistry in the country.
